A really awesome atmosphere and would highly recommend for those interested in sports and sprint cars and in the Warnambool area. There are life sized replicas in the venue that make for a cool photo moment and lots of TV's and bar set up which is perfect for watching events. The food was not amazing but it wasn't bad. There were a couple vegetarian options available on the menu which is always good too. Prices were on the higher side but portions were large. I found my pizza was a little disappointing however my partner enjoyed his steak.

Food was okay but a bit overpriced. $5 for a can of soft drink. Staff were a bit confused but generally well meaning. Kids menu for under 13 only, not teenagers.

The Flying Horse - hmmm do horses fly? Perhaps they do here. For the celebration of the life of a dear friend of my partner, we attended a gathering of family and friends at #theflyinghorse It’s a very large venue with many spaces to gather collectively. We were seated in a lovely spot but wasn’t too noisy considering the number of people. Menu is traditional pub food at reasonable prices. My partner had a medium rare porterhouse steak which was cooked exactly as requested. It was accompanied with honey candied carrots, broccolini and garlic flavoured mashed potato’s. I ordered the penne carbonara and took up the option of chicken that was served with shaved parmesan. Portion sizes were good and taste not bad for a pub meal, considering the volume of food they were pumping out. The bar is well stocked and although I chose the house red, it was pretty good. Kids are well catered for and it’s an ideal ‘family friendly’ place to eat. Bonus - no poker machines humming in the background. Plenty of car parking. Courtesy bus available and that was well used by our group. Best of all, the staff were amazing. Helpful. Courteous. Friendly. I have never had a bad meal here… And now their updated menu has a section I am a huge fan of! And it contains RIBS! American BBQ style ribs that were absolutely sensational. I can’t wait to have them again…and again…and again!

Great pub with table service (both drinks and food!) Food and service were first rate. Good size serves of quality food. Garlic & cheese bread was excellent as were the main fish and chips. All of our party were extremely happy with their food and the dining experience here.

Service left a lot to be desired. I simply ordered salt and pepper squid and after asking 6 times where it is I was told its not coming. Rude service

Stopped for food on a day trip to Warrnambool and found this place. Great customer service and delicious food. The staff were all friendly and nice. Food was delicious. The food and service Made the trip to remember. I Will definitely go back to this place. They understood the food advise as my friend is vegetarian and had the food served to needs. Thank you.
